LSH Auto leading the Chain Reaction Charity Rides

The annual Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation series of long-distance fundraising rides rolled out of Sydney - on the way to Melbourne – on March 9th, with a very visible presence from the LSH Auto Australia provided support cars.

Described as ‘the ultimate corporate bike challenge’, Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation has raised more than $25 million since its first ride 2007. Among the many beneficiaries of funds raised by Chain Reaction cycling events are four major children’s charity partners including the LSH Auto Australia 2019 Charity Partner - Starlight Children’s Foundation, AEIOU Foundation for Children with Autism, Ronald McDonald House Charities and Very Special Kids. The average rider raises over $22,000 in sponsorships and donations.

During the 2019 events, running out of Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne, LSH Auto Australia will supply a total of six vehicles, through Mercedes-Benz Melbourne, Mercedes-Benz Sydney and Mercedes-Benz Brisbane. The vehicles will be leading the cycling peloton, providing medical support, and providing logistics support.

LSH Auto Australia Managing Director, John Good, welcomed the partnership; “Chain Reaction’s support for children and young people, at times of great stress, is totally in keeping with our aim to be a contributing member of our communities. We are proud to be supporting the sterling efforts of all riders.”

Chain Reaction will embark on four premier rides in 2019. The three, seven-day events, commencing in March, cover with courses featuring some of Australia’s best roads for cycling through the Snowy Mountains and the Victorian Alps between Sydney and Melbourne. The three-day women’s only event will take place later in the year. The events aim to raise over $3.5 Million in 2019, in the support of the children’s charity partners.
