LSH Group welcomes Mercedes-Benz Brisbane to new landmark precinct

Hong-Kong based global conglomerate, Lei Shing Hong Group has created a new Brisbane landmark. The outstanding new luxury lifestyle precinct, at the Breakfast Creek Wharf entry to the Brisbane CBD, is about to welcome its anchor tenant with the August 1 commencement of operations for LSH Auto’s Mercedes-Benz Brisbane.

The development stands over an entire river-front block and, across its five levels, will set the future direction of premium automotive retail in Australia whilst clearly demonstrating LSH Group’s vision and capability in the development of integrated luxury lifestyle precincts.

Occupying more than 13,000 of the building’s 32,712 sq metres, the new state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz Brisbane will be the largest Mercedes-Benz retail operation in the Southern Hemisphere. It will have a full floor dedicated to new vehicle display, house the LSH Gallery historic car museum, an AMG Performance Centre, a S-Class Lounge - with concierge service, dozens of digital vehicle customisation screens, and a second floor service centre with, 45 vehicle maintenance bays, that will be visible to customers.

Amongst the range of new customer experience and vehicle service technology included will be ‘MAHA’ vehicle test lanes, built into the customer reception lanes, that measure steering, brake and suspension performance, wheel alignment and tyre tread depth. Thus, providing service customers with an instant read-out of items requiring attention.

In addition to Mercedes-Benz Brisbane, the striking five-story, water-facing, glass-fronted building will offer unique dining and function options, including a creek-front promenade café and a roof-top restaurant and bar that will allow 180-degree views of Brisbane and its surroundings.

Adding to the luxury precinct offering will be experience centres from a range of leading luxury lifestyle brands, personal care and wellness facilities and a business centre. All in a unique waterside location, making it a major contributor to reinvigorating a part of the city that is rapidly becoming a sophisticated urban lifestyle hub.

Further features of note are the southern hemisphere’s largest green wall with over 14,000 individual plants, spanning three levels, and the 1,000 sq. metres of roof level terrace, for outdoor dining and bar.

As the new home for Mercedes-Benz Brisbane the experience offered to customers will have more in common with a 5-star hotel than traditional auto retail. At every touch-point the customer experience has undergone 21st century re-engineered, designed to enhance, streamline and enrich every aspect of customer interaction.

The Mercedes-Benz Brisbane elements of the building are also the very first in-market expression of the new Mercedes-Benz retail corporate identity. Consequently the building is not only an obvious beacon of style but also a prototype for how the world’s leading luxury car brand believes modern premium automotive retail should be experienced.

All of the design features and customer interaction initiatives will, according to LSH Auto Australia Managing Director, John Good; “further illustrate the LSH Auto brand promise of ‘You come first. Always’ by having placed our customer’s experience at the centre of the brief for the creation of this new environment.”

As LSH Group’s first major development in Australia, the over $100 million project has established the credibility of the company as a major player in both Australian premium automotive retail and in luxury lifestyle precinct development.

Following the commencement of Mercedes-Benz Brisbane operation LSH Group will be announcing luxury brand, services and hospitality partners, on a progressive basis, through to the end of 2019.
