Choice Awards continue to reward
The Quarter 2, 2020 Choice Award winners have been announced, with Clare Baker - PA to both the Dealer Principal of Mercedes-Benz Brisbane and the LSH Auto Australia Procurement Manager, Gary Pole – Yard Hand at Mercedes-Benz Melbourne and Tony Sun – Delivery coordinator at Mercedes-Benz Sydney being named.
All three expressed surprise and pride in being nominated. Tony, who joined Mercedes-Benz Sydney in 2017, mentioned that knowing that he is part of a great experience for customers, when they take delivery of their new car, really motivates him, whilst Clare, who indicated a love of working in across departments as part of a coordinated team, has been with Mercedes-Benz Brisbane since 2013. She also recently spent a period on secondment to LSH Property as a project Coordinator on the highly complex Breakfast Creek project.
Remarkably, Gary Pole has been with Mercedes-Benz Melbourne since January 1973. Starting as an automotive technician, he says it is the variety of each day that keeps him motivated after 47 years.
Gary nominated the Smith Family as his charity, Clare nominated Beyond Blue and Tony nominated the youth cancer charity Canteen. All very worthy causes and all an additional tribute to outstanding contributions by Clare, Gary and Tony. Congratulations to all three.
