LSH Auto Australia helps Chain Reaction Women’s ride raise close to $400,000

Having helped the Chain Reaction Charity Rides raise over $3 Million, through its three 1,000km rides, LSH Auto Australia once again backed the children’s charity fundraisers with provision of the 6 support vehicles used in last October’s Brisbane to Sunshine Coast 2019 Women’s 300 ride.

The ride began on Friday October 11 and saw the riders traverse a picturesque route from Brisbane then through the Sunshine Coast’s stunning hinterland, on to its famous beaches and finally back to Brisbane to finish, on Sunday the 13th, at the hotel-like customer reception area of Mercedes-Benz Brisbane’s new Breakfast Creek home. On arrival, they were cheered by hundreds of relatives, friends and supporters, all of whom had enjoyed a special Sunday tour of the stunning new facility.

Over the 3 days and 300kms of cycling the riders followed a Mercedes-AMG C63 S lead car and were supported by follow, technical and logistic support vehicles, including Mercedes-Benz vans. The 2019 Women’s 300 riders emulated the fundraising success of last year’s event by raising close to $400,000 in the aid of charities such as aeiou Foundation for children with autism and the Mater Foundation.

LSH Auto Australia partnered the Chain Reaction Charity Fundraising Rides over the course of 2019. The four annual events see recreational corporate riders complete challenging long-distance multi-day rides, with the earlier 2019 rides for Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane participants covering challenging 7-day courses across the New South Wales and Victorian highlands.

The 2019 rides have raised more than $3.2 Million and, since its inception in 2007, the Chain Reaction Charity Rides have raised more than $28.3 Million in support of children’s charities.

LSH Auto Australia will continue its support of the Chain Reaction Rides over 2020 and views that support as a central element of the company’s commitment to be a contributing and valuable corporate member of the communities in which it operates.
