LSH Auto Australia Supports Street Side Medics’ Expansion into Canberra

LSH Auto Australia is proud to support Street Side Medics as the organisation expands its vital work into Canberra with the opening of its new Civic clinic.

The official launch took place at Parliament House on Tuesday 11 August 2026, with the charity’s purpose-built mobile medical clinic stationed on Federation Mall before an evening celebration attended by supporters, community partners and Federal Parliamentarians, including Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

The new clinic brings free, accessible healthcare directly to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, helping to remove some of the barriers that can make accessing essential medical care difficult.

Located at Vinnies Roadhouse at The Griffin Centre in Civic, the clinic will operate every Thursday from 5pm to 7pm, providing an accessible point of care for members of the Canberra community who may otherwise face challenges accessing traditional healthcare services. Street Side Medics is a volunteer-led organisation focused on bringing healthcare directly to people experiencing homelessness and vulnerability. Through its mobile clinics, the organisation provides essential healthcare services in a setting that is accessible, welcoming and centred around the needs of the community.

The expansion into Canberra represents an important milestone for Street Side Medics and extends the organisation's reach to support more people who may experience barriers to accessing healthcare.
