Apprentices program builds skills and delivers global experiences

An essential part of ensuring the LSH Auto has the industry’s best technical skills is developing young talent. Through our partnership with specialist technical trainers, WPC Group ,we are running very active apprentice programs.

In addition to helping to build great careers the program includes a scholarship opportunity for top apprentices to travel to the United Kingdom and join other LSH Auto Group apprentices, learning new skills and seeing what is required of technicians in a completely different climate.

Recent scholarship winners – Alex Raffone, Daphne O’Meara, and Madeline Chamberlin earned a remarkable opportunity which saw them visit two LSH Auto UK dealerships in Stockport and Birmingham, meet apprentices in the UK, present their experience as an apprentice for Mercedes-Benz in Australia, and get hands-on experience with operational work.

The program also included a lifestyle experience in the West Midlands, a chance to drive on a racetrack and to explore a museum in London. The trip held extra excitement as it was the first time two of the three apprentices travelled outside of Australia.

Our apprentice recruitment process continues and if you, or someone you know, is thinking about a career in the exciting world of modern automotive technology, they should register interest by contacting their LSH Auto Australia Mercedes-Benz retail outlet.
