Last year we are proudly supported, for the second year, the exceptional work of The Sapphire Project, an initiative focussed on raising funds to protect our fragile ocean environment and our Great Barrier Reef in particular.
The second Sapphire Project Gala Dinner was held at Sydney’s Carriageworks on the evening of June 8, which was UN World Oceans Day. With a mission to ‘protect what is precious’, over 300 guests from the worlds of business, philanthropy, environmental protection and celebrity enjoyed an exceptional evening, themed Electrified, which featured immersive and innovative digital art focussed on oceanic scenes.
The event helped to raise over $1million that is to be applied to scientific and environmental research through organisations such as The Great Barrier Reef Foundation and the Sydney Institute of Maritime Science Foundation.
LSH Auto not only participated with a VIP table, but also displayed the expertise we have developed in delivering and supporting the extensive range of Mercedes-Benz EQ electric vehicles.
We are thrilled that The Sapphire Project is proving to be such a worthy environmental protection initiative and happy to have been part of helping them achieve their goals.
