Q4, 2019’s worthy winners of the staff recognising LSH Auto Australia Choice Award

Congratulations to 4th quarter 2019 LSH Auto Choice Award winners; Airlie Flavell-Towie–Service Advisor at Mercedes-Benz Melbourne, Mercedes-Benz Brisbane’s Jon Astin - Costing Clerk and Nathan Owen - Assistant Service Manager at Mercedes-Benz Sydney.

Arlie joined Mercedes-Benz Melbourne in 2017, Nathan joined Mercedes-Benz Sydney as an apprentice in 2004, progressing through the ranks to his current position, and, remarkably, Jon has been with the Mercedes-Benz Brisbane team from the very beginning, recently celebrating 42 years at the dealership.

A flattered Airlie says she never considered the possibility that she would be nominated; “Working with our guests is the best part of my role. I feel lucky to have the opportunity to help them and service their vehicles. The team of people I work with are such a great and diverse group and we all work together to get the best result for our guests.”

Jon’s reaction to being recognised was; “...totally surprised, when I was told I had been nominated I couldn’t believe it! I get so much satisfaction from contributing to so many different departments and I think people know they can count on me. Perhaps that and my loyalty to Mercedes-Benz Brisbane are what people considered when nominating me.”

Nathan remarked; “I feel honoured that I have been acknowledged for something I love doing. I like that every day is different, each with its own set of challenges. The service team make this a great place to work and it’s very gratifying to see happy customers because of what we have done to help them.”

Arlie nominated the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal as her charity. Beyond Blue was Nathan’s nominated charity. Whilst Jon’s charity nomination was the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.

All three will attend the 2019 Choice Award Gala Dinner in March, to be held at the striking new Mercedes-Benz Brisbane facility, at which the overall winner for 2019 will be announced
