Supporting the homeless through our partnership with Street Side Medics
LSH Auto Australia has partnered withStreet Side Medics, which was founded last year by Sydney based physician Dr. Daniel Nour, to deliver vital medical care to those experiencing homelessness.
As a major sponsor, LSH Auto Australia will provide a second Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van to be fitted out as a mobile clinic.
LSH Auto Australia Managing Director, John Good, lauded the work of Dr. Nour and his team, “What Street Side Medics have done is inspirational. This is such a great opportunity for us to participate in a practical fashion. It’s a perfect fit with our objective of contributing to the communities in which we operate.”
Dr. Nour and his team of volunteers provide medical care that includes, examinations, treatment of medical conditions, immunisations, pathology services and even minor surgical procedures.
The partnership was announced at an official launch of the Street Side Medics program, held at LSH Auto’s Mercedes-Benz Sydney dealership, at which the NSW Minister for Health and Medical Research, Brad Hazzard and former NSW Premier –Professor Bob Carr attended
